Junk Haul Away
Anyone can throw boxes into a truck but our philosophy is to make sure that everything being moved stays in the same condition from start to finish. We practice proven techniques and our attention to detail will help make for a smooth transition. No matter what it is or how far it's being moved, each item will be gently handled. We make sure to wrap your furniture for its protection when carried & stored inside our trucks.
We have friendly conscientious moving teams available everyday to service High Desert, Big bear, Inland Empire. We are exceptionally fast, professional and competent. We service truck and labor moves including: office, apartment/condo, house, intra-complex moves, to/from any type of storage unit &/or truck (i.e. PODS, Units, Pack Rats, Cool Boxes, U-boxes and other portable storage containers; U-hauls, Budget, Penske, Ryder trucks; and ABF trailers).
We accommodate your move requests to your individual needs.
We look forward to being your moving company of choice.
We have 26 ft box trucks standing by and fully equipped. We provide loading and unloading service and full service packing and unpacking.
Each moving crew is equipped with power tools (to disassemble and reassemble furniture), roll-out floor protectors, door protectors, loaner wardrobe boxes, dollies, moving blankets, tie-downs, stretch film, tape and extra boxes (if needed) for every job.
Our packing and unpacking service is equally matched to our moving service. We can use your packing supplies or, for your convenience, we will provide boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper and tape for purchase.
We are experienced in disassembly &/or reassembly of complex pieces (i.e. custom bedroom sets, glass furniture, dining tables, trampolines, etc. - just let us know what you have -- we can do it).
Our rates are competitive and reasonable. We charge by the hour per size of crew (2-6 or more movers). We accept credit cards, cash, Zelle, VenMo and PayPal.
We offer a discount for cash payments.
We are open for business and taking precautions to maintain the health and well-being of our workers and clients. We are complying with social distancing; our movers are wearing masks, using sanitizer for their hands and no one is scheduled to work presenting any symptoms of the cold or flu.
Our #1 responsibility, and a priority, as a moving company to assure our clients that we are doing all that we can to provide a safe environment for anyone who is in need of a moving service during this time of national compliance. We wish you all good health and safety as you make choices for your immediate needs.
Be Safe - Be Well!
As much as possible pre-plan and label where you would like your boxes and furniture placed in your new location before moving.
The more you are prepared and pre-packed
the quicker and smoother the move will take.
If you know that you will need additional help packing, let us know as soon as possible. We can provide packing services prior to the day of move.
Pack and label on the top and all four sides of each box according to where it will be unpacked in your new home. Also boldly note "FRAGILE" on boxes with glass and other breakable items. Empty all contents of all furniture drawers into boxes. It is best to individually wrap dishes with packing paper before placing into boxes. Figurines, crystal, china and other extremely fragile items should be bubble wrapped individually.
TIP -- start with the kitchen, it takes the longest to pack. Use up refrigerator/freezer contents well before moving.
Use small (1.5 cu. ft.) boxes for heavy smaller items such as books, dishes, DVDs, breakables, small appliances, canned goods and tools.
TIP -- 20 small boxes (rather than 10 large heavy boxes) are more efficient, less damaging and easier to handle.
Use medium (3.0 cu. ft.) boxes for small household items such as pots and pans, medium appliances, plastic organizer containers and toys.
Use large (4.5 cu. ft.) boxes for light weight items such as lamp shades, stereo speakers, board games, stuffed animals, pillows and clothing.
Use wardrobe boxes for hanging items still on the hangers. Can also be used for shoes, bedding, and miscellaneous light/bulky items.
Use mirror/picture cartons for protecting these glass items as well as glass tabletops and shelves. These special cartons can be customized to fit any sized piece.
Our movers will, when needed, disassemble and will handle the wrapping of these items.
NOTE: The movers do not unhook washer/dryers and refrigerators or re-hook up at new locations for liability reasons.
Televisions need to packed in a TV box before we move them. Mattresses and box springs need to be in mattress bags for COVID-19 protection.
NOTE: We will move only upright pianos as long as they are coming from and going to a ground floor location with no stairs.
Have all walkways/pathways clear of clutter or obstructions.
Clean out grills of oils and ashes.
Do not water plants.
Remove all light bulbs from lamps.
Optional: disassemble large furniture such as beds, desks and T.V., stereo and electronic connections with cords wound up securely.
Be fully packed, organized, and ready to go when your movers arrive.
Jewelry, prescriptions, light bulbs, flammables and paint should be transported by owner.
Have young children and pets off the premises for their safety and the most efficient move.
Before the moving truck leaves be sure to double check closets, cabinets, and drawers to ensure that nothing has been left behind.
Whether you want to have us to do the packing or do it yourself, these proven suggestions will help you in your move. Let us know if you have any questions.
